History

"Bringing Hope Through Cello Harmony"
2020-

"During the COVID-19 pandemic."

Because of the dreadful pandemic, all my travels overseas to share my music and my personal journey with my Lord in the remote areas of the globe for almost more than 3 years. As the pandemic became under control in 2023, my travels have restarted in March, a trip to Poland to serve the Ukrainian refugee camps to provide comfort and relief with my music. In May and June, I traveled to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and to Almaty, Kazakhstan.

2010-

"Missionary Trips to Various Countries"

"Since 2013, I have expanded my mission-related concert trips to various cities in China, including Beijing, Kashgar, Lanzhou, Urumqi, and Xian, as well as Almaty, Kazakhstan. During these trips, I visited and performed at an orphanage for physically handicapped children in Almaty, spent time with gravely ill children at an oncology hospital, and participated in fundraising concerts in Ottawa and Montreal for Syrian refugees allowed to migrate to Canada, sponsored by the Korean Embassy in Ottawa and the non-profit organization 'Peace 4 People.' I also use a carbon fiber cello for outdoor performances and play an 18th-century Milanese cello believed to be made by Carlo Antonio Testore, circa 1699."

1996 -

"Collaboration with Renowned Artists"

"I have collaborated with various renowned artists, served as a teaching assistant to Joel Krosnick of the Juilliard String Quartet, worked as chamber music faculty at multiple music festivals, frequently visited Manchester, Vermont, participated in the Manchester Music Festival, and been an active member of Young Audience of New York, delivering string quartet lectures in NYC schools. Additionally, since 2005, I've been a missionary cellist, playing the cello for native children and adults in Peruvian Amazon villages and providing medical support alongside healthcare professionals in Peru."

1978-1996:

"The time of the music tour to all 50 U.S. states."

"After receiving support from world-renowned cellist Aldo Parisot in Connecticut, I participated in Janos Starker's master classes at Yale University School of Music. Subsequently, I became a member of the Essex Quartet, extensively performing across North America under the sponsorship of Columbia Artists Management's Douglas Sheldon division. Our performances, which included critically acclaimed recitals in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia, also took us to all 50 U.S. states as part of the Community Concert Series, where we played in various venues such as high school auditoriums, university concert halls, churches, and town halls."

1976-1978:

"Studied at the Mozarteum Music School in Salzburg, Austria."

Studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, with Heidi Litchauer. During the summer of 1978, attended the Meadowmount School of Music, studying with Channing Robbins.
